When Superior first opened its doors in 1967, we were just a small, family business, focused on manufacturing FAA approved replacement parts for Continental and Lycoming engines. A lot has changed since then.

Today, we are part of Thielert AG (TAE), the a global leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of advanced piston aircraft engines.

Superior Air Parts is the largest suppliers of FAA approved PMA piston aircraft parts in the world. We have brought unparalleled innovation to engines for the General Aviation and Sport Aviation markets. Our FAA certified Vantage Engine and owner-built XP-360 Engine, lead the industry for performance, reliability and value.
